Our first horse racing calendar was published in 1981.The theme was featuring the leading National Hunt and Flat horses in action winning the major Group/Grade 1 races of the season. This theme has continued to this day, although sometimes the Grand National or the big Sandown Gold Cup Chase, have been featured.
In addition to the original A3 12 page calendar, we also publish a A3 6 page, and A4 6 page version. Although these are ideal corporate gifts, the original version remains an established calendar for the horse racing enthusiast.
We have published a full range of sporting/horse racing diaries since 1991. Again these are targeted towards the corporate gift market. Our Executive Pocket Diary, Desk Diary and Horse Racing Calendar can also be purchased individually.
All calendars and diaries featuring photos, are original Mel Fordham images.
Mel is one of the most established and quality turf photographers currently working on British racecourses. Starting his career in 1979, Mel has been the official racecourse photographer for many of the racecourses in the southern part of the UK. He has travelled extensively world wide photographing racehorses.
Mel currently concentrates on the major Group 1/Grade 1 races of the year in order to capture images of the really best performers in the sport. Mel was awarded Horse Racing's prestigious title of Photographer of the Year for 2011. He had also won Channel 4's Horse Racing's Photograph of the Year on two occasions.
